Long multiplication for Hegarty Maths users

One method for long multiplication involves writing out all the required multiplications to one side, as per the screenshot image on this page. Hegarty Maths has certainly advocated this method. Our experience suggests that students find this method to be quite easy to follow, but also quite long-winded and tedious to write out. If your school supports this method then you will want to use the files listed below:
